Are you interested in green, sustainable, mild cleansing, and deeply moisturizing shampoo? Then solid bars would be your choice.
Our handmade shampoo bars last longer, perform better, and help to keep our Earth cleaner. We’ve been making them for ages, and now decided to share our creations with you. They are perfect for any business trip, any bathroom, and for any hair. You can even use our shampoo as a 3-in 1 bar (shampoo+conditioner+soap).
Our promise: Conditioning Shampoo bars by ARTIO work perfectly and last long (up to 75 washes)!
Add our solid conditioners/clear shaving cream, and you will have an amazing haircare set at home!
Our Conditioning Shampoo bars are handcrafted in small batches with green, ECO cert ingredients and with mild but foamy sulfate and paraben-free surfactants. Long-lasting, zero waste beauties will help everyone with dull, damaged, or dry hair.
ARTIO's Conditioning Shampoo bars come in a variety of scents that make you feel relaxed and refreshed. Enjoy three types with mint, lavender, or grapefruit essential oils.
Note: Shampoo bars often look "rustic". For example, the bottom side of some shampoo bars can be "unpolished". It is because of their "like fresh dough" consistency during manufacturing. This issue is purely aesthetic and easily dissolves after the first few showers.
Choosing the right solid shampoo bar for you, consider:
*Avoid melt and pour soap and, in general, ANY soap
An alkaline product, soap eventually will damage your hair so much, that you will lose them for good. It does not matter how much good oils a manufacturer adds to such soap - it is still an alkaline product. You do not need to risk your health!
*People with dry scalps should use moisturizing and conditioning shampoos
Extracts of chamomile or cucumber can help. People with oily scalps and hair would enjoy products with exfoliating herbal extracts like papaya, bamboo, or honeysuckle. Those who spend a lot of time outside would enjoy green tea extract in the shampoo's formula. If you have a problem with dandruff, search for willow bark extract, and if you have oily scalp and dry ends, then use a conditioner only on your hair ends.
*Essential oils vs. fragrance oils
It is totally up to your taste. Fragrance oils are all produced under strict control and do no harm to your hair and scalp. Remember that essential oils are very concentrated compounds that might provoke allergic reactions. Read labels before your purchase to avoid an unpleasant situation.
*Don't leave shampoo bars in a pool of water
Let them completely dry between washes, and they will faithfully serve you for a very long time.
** Not a sulfate
